Amber Hall

Amber is currently working on characterising novel effector proteins from the plant pathogen: phytoplasma, and engineering some of these phytoplasma effectors for targeted protein degradation.

She is also interested in gene editing, particularly as a technique to control insect pest species, as well as plant-insect interactions and protein-protein interactions.
